Can we skip the Diagnostic and start on a retainer?
No. All ongoing work starts with the Diagnostic, without exception; only a fixed-scope Project can run without one. Building before we have diagnosed is expensive guessing, and the order protects you as much as it protects the work. If we continue together, the $2,500 becomes your first month, so starting right costs nothing extra.
Why is the first term a quarter?
Because meaningful marketing does not move in weeks, and pretending otherwise would be selling you noise. A quarter is long enough to build, test, and read real results. After it, both monthly engagements run month to month on thirty days' notice; we earn retention by delivering, not by contract.
Do you bill hourly?
No. An hourly rate makes you pay more when the work goes slower, which is backwards. You pay a stated figure for an outcome and a standard, and speed is our problem.
What happens if a number is down?
You hear it from us first, plainly, with what we are doing about it already moving. Reporting against the agreed measures includes the months that did not go our way; the whole value of the firm is that it tells you the truth.
Are there hidden fees?
No. What is quoted is what is billed. If scope changes, it is discussed openly with a matching adjustment before anything is invoiced, so we are never quietly working for free and you are never quietly billed for more.
